Hogan Conversion Test Analyst

Complete Description:
Serves as a functional testing expert to support conversions. MUST have Hogan experience (Hogan Deposits (DDA) or Hogan CIS) . Provides project support including analysis, test plan construction, test case construction, test execution, status reporting, the ability to identify risks and assist in providing resolution, and ensures the use of standard project methodology. Need a functional tester who will be responsible for validating data coming into Hogan from the banks new acquisitions - PFF and Downey. Quality Center and Clearquest are “nice to have” but not required.

Behavior Characteristics:
Excellent planning and organizational skills, excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, core banking functionality experience, particularly Hogan experience.

Technical skills:
Hogan DDA/CIS/TDA , IMS, CICS, Mainframe, Quality Center, Banking, Strong Analytical & Problem Solving

QA Analyst

The selected candidate will perform the following duties:

- Assist with requirements and testing of enhancements and/or documentation for the application whether it is a simple enhancement request or a project
- Work on projects and small enhancement assignments as a testing/QA resource
- Responsible for system and integration testing as well as assisting business areas with UA testing

Quality Assurance (QA) Manager Online Services Applications

Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) has an immediate opening as a result of a promotion for a seasoned Quality Assurance (QA) Manager for their flagship web and desktop products that are recognized globally for their authority in chemistry information. CAS is headquartered on a beautiful campus environment, which is walking distance to The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an organization that is well established and has been driving results for over 100 years! The ideal candidate will lead and manage a highly technical and experienced team of over 20 direct reports located at same location, including full-time employees and contactors. This team is responsible for testing client server and web based applications in mainly a manual testing environment and moving more towards automated testing. As a result, experience managing manual and automated testing (Mercury tool sets/HP) within large software projects is preferred.

In addition, to the above responsibilities the ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in computer science, chemistry or related sciences. Overall the candidate should have 7 to 10 years IT related experience, including 5 to 7 years successful experience in a quality assurance environment with management or leadership experience. Proven experience in process improvement, ability to get results through managing a team effectively and efficiently, and good presentation skills are highly desirable for the success of this position. Knowledge in chemistry and of CAS products and databases is highly desirable.
