We are currently accepting resumes for multiple QA Lead openings in Dublin, Ohio.

The selected candidate will perform the following duties:
- Write detailed test plans
- Develop test conditions and manual/automated test scripts for various front and back-end functions and applications
- Record and track software defects through IBM Rational Tool
- Provide proactive daily status of issues and progress made during test execution and general application testing
- Attend regular business and developer meetings to gather testing requirements as well as to articulate current testing issues/concerns
- Perform functional, integration, and systems testing
- Administer and monitor the recording of all defects for project assigned
- Identify outstanding high defects that have not been addressed by the project team
- Provide regular testing updates to the Manager of the Quality Control Group
- Identify issues and concerns that could potentially inhibit an application’s release
- Continually innovate and create new ideas and procedures for the Quality Control team
- Develop a basic understanding of the architecture and design for all applications tested within team

Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Information Systems
- Minimum 5 years of testing experience (writing test plans, cases and scripts)
- Minimum 2 to 3 years experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Web Browser, and Outlook
- Minimum 2 to 3 years experience using IBM Rational test suite (or similar tool) skills
- Strong QC Lead experience
- Strong experience with SQL
- Strong experience with Informatica
- Experience in developing SQL queries against Oracle and Teradata databases
- Experience with QA/QC principles and software development lifecycle (SDLC) process improvement practices
- Experience with QA/QC Methodology
- Expertise in Problem solving and tracking bug reports using bug tracking tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate themselves succinctly to a variety of audiences (PMs, technical specialists, developers, architects, BSAs, etc)
- A strong understanding of functional and requirements testing
- Experience with integration and component based testing across diverse systems
- Basic understanding of UNIX and the ability to perform basic UNIX commands
- Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and star schemas
- Detail oriented with the ability to work independently and/or with little supervision in a fast paced results driven environment
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment, learn new processes and multiple technologies
- Ability to build moral amongst team members and customers supported by QC
- Sense of accountability for all project work assigned to the individual and team
- Good attitude

Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience with AS/400 or I-Series
