Contract: 6 month-hire and 5 month contract
Location: Columbus, OH
Apex Systems, Inc. is currently seeking two QA Testers.
Qualified candidates MUST have experience with the following:
• Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant technical experience.
• Experience with testing practices, principles and environments.
• Experience with large project implementation and delivery.
• Experience testing newly developed as well as enhancements and bug fixes on applications on UNIX and Windows platforms.
• Strong technical leadership abilities and experience leading teams in planning, development and execution of System, Integration and Regression testing.
• Experience working with Analysts or clients to define project requirements.
• Ability to work well with development staff, analyst and project managers to insure delivery milestones are met and ensure adequate testing of the software development projects.
• Experience testing newly developed as well as enhancements and bug fixes on applications running on UNIX and Windows platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows XP, UNIX Operating Systems and test tools such as Mercury Quality Center, Quick Test Pro, Test Director, Winrunner, Caliber.
• Experience with Oracle and SQL.
• Knowledge/Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Internet Explorer, Netscape.
• Knowledge/Experience working on Telecom applications & Telecom Products.
• Knowledge/Experience with configuration management software.
